Cocktail Chronicles: Lexington House, a cocktail sensation

The Lexington House in Los Gatos has been riding a pretty hot streak since it opened in September, and with good reason. Stephen Shelton and Jimmy Marino, two bartending wizards I first met at nearby Cin-Cin a few years back, have created a cocktail sensation on North Santa Cruz Avenue.

I stopped by alone around 6:30 p.m. on a recent Monday, figuring I could quickly slip onto a barstool. Lexington House's popularity stymied that silly notion, and I wound up waiting a few minutes for a spot to open up at the smallish bar, which seats about 10 people.
