About our Chef

Trent lidgey

After graduating from the Atlantic Culinary Academy in 2010, trent got his professional start in hotel kitchens, but that didn’t last long, he was looking for a real challenge. In 2012 he found it, working under Ken Oringer at his Clio Restaurant in Boston. lidgey spent a few years there, learning everything he could, developing his own set of tools which he took to the Bay Area when he landed a position at Atelier Crenn in San Francisco. Within a year trent rose to the rank of R&D Sous Chef. With the help of Chef Crenn he then landed a stage at Dan Hunter’s Brae Restaurant in Australia (Pelegrino’s top 100). trent held two Chef De Partie positions during his time Down Under. a consummate traveler, trent has finally found an amazing home here at The Lex, where he works with the whole team to create an incredible, constantly evolving menu.
